linux knowledgebase in Austin

A friend and I are on the verge of starting a business which will
incorporate linux + networking app's into the product.
I'm currently living in Houston (will be moving there in a few months)
and am unfamiliar with the 'Austin linux scene'.
Am I correct in assuming that there are a lot of linux/networking gurus
in Austin who might be interested in a startup?
