you'll find a whole range of choices, from a baby board with 3 PCI 2ISA (1
shared) to monster boards with 1AGP, 6PCI, 6ISA (1PCI/ISA, and to get this
many slots you have to have an ISA extension and more case cutouts)

Usually, the AGP slot is not shared with PCI, but is really standalone.
(anyone know if AGP cards are flipped back over? -- the way ISA and PCI
share, is that PCI cards are built "upside down" -- that is the components
are on the bottom of a card installed into a vertically mounted
motherboard, ISA cards are the opposite of that).

Usually, even if you have only one ISA slot, that one is shared with PCI.
