I use MetaHTML with MySQL, works really nicely.  MetaHTML will also work with
postgreSQL and mSQL.  There is a GNU version and a PRO version. The PRO version
will also work with Oracle, etc.

Unfortunately, I designed the database a little inefficiently so there is a
noticable pause generating some of the pages, but that's my fault and not
MetaHTML's. Of course, running the web server, the metahtml-engine, and
the database all on one 200Mhz Pentium (IDE) might be part of the problem :-)

I'm currently working on specing/building a new faster SCSI box, with plans to
reimplement the database in light of experience.
