I've used memtest, from freshmeat, for memory testing. It generally works quite well. For basic system workouts, I still use BurnIn. I have it on an ancient "Hardware Tech" CD, but it's gotta be floating around the web. Be warned that BurnIn does exactly what it advertises - anything that's shaky breaks. There used to be ISA boards available that run through the boot process with LED codes kinda like an RS/6000, but I haven't seen one in a while. -- Doc Shipley Network Guy TARL Labs, UT On Fri, 9 Jul 1999, Chip Rosenthal wrote: > Can anybody recommend a good system board and memory diagnostic > for peecees?
