pump does configure /etc/resolv.conf for you, no problem there.... It
doesn't, however, configure any proxy settings, and you don't need them.
Pump handles everything "to give you a connection". It doesn't handle
notifying you when your IP address changes or authenticating to the TW/RR
servers (needed for "account maintainance" such as setting up additional
mailboxes).
