Wish it was that simple.  IWhen I worked at dell, we shipped a model of
speakers, that altec lansing ACS495's thta would pretty much haard lock
up.  The embedded processor on the speaker itself would lock up every once
in a while and not allow the handy dandy controls on the speakers to
change the volume.  That was always fun to explain to the techs on the
floor trying to troubleshoot it over the phone.
