Further note on Classics & maybe LX - They only run with 1, 4, or 16mb
60ns parity 72pin ram, up to 96mb. I ran my Classic with 2 32mb SIMMs for
a while, and Solaris did OK, but RedHat puked & rebooted every 20 minutes.
The nvram RAM test showed unending errors. I've run a variety of hard
drives with no problems, but mine won't boot off any CD drive but a Sun.
BTW, I think I have a bunch of 4m 30pin parity. I'd prolly sell it cheap,
if anybody needs it. And a floppy drive from a SS2.
