It would not work. Not because it is a public DNS server, no DNS server
can do this.
You can setup that function using apache's virtual domain. Officially,
your client's browser should be HTTP1.1 compatable to use "domain named
based virtual domain". The vast majority of browsers out there are still
HTTP1.0. HOWEVER, from my experience, most HTTP1.0 compatable browsers do
support this HTTP1.1 function. So, you should have no problem in the real
world.
