I noticed an extreme amount of disk activity on my box this
afternoon. I suspiciously checked syslog, and noticed that I was being
pinged. I guess that in itself isn't a huge deal, but here is a
slightly editted logcheck report from the past hour:

What should I make of this? I don't ever recall being this popular in
the past, but now everyone seems to be pinging me. Is this an
attempted DOS attack, or something else?
