Hello, hello I hope you folks don't mind too much about this....but I have to thin out my computer room and get a laptop for work. I have a 3 month old AMD K6III 450 with a 20 gig HD - 256 Megs o' ram and an internal zip, 48x cdrom Matrox mga 16 meg vid card- I built it from scratch, new - the damned thing runs just fine. (Freebsd, OpenBSD, LINUX, etc,etc....) I am running Free on it right now. $550. PPro 200 -14(?) gig hard drive, matrox millenium 4meg pci card - nothing special makes a great fileserver or workstation. $250.00 An old IBM server - P60 with 32megs o' ram - NO COLOR VIDEO....runs as an OpenBSD firewall just fine....even as I write this. $175.00 I also have a couple of cheap 17" monitors (Relisys) 2 months old and a 21 incher (NCD) that is a yer old and beautiful..... Anyone who is interested in any of this can write me off the list - and if you happen to want some of it and have a reasonable laptop you want to part with let me know - I am very flexible on any and all of this stuff.
