Hi guys, I've just got myself an abandoned PowerBook 5300 laptop. It has 8MB RAM. I would like to install LinuxPPC on it. Does anyone have knowledge about this kind of laptop? Do they have special hardware that prevents me from installing Linux? It only has a 3.5" floppy drive. Can I get a fairly complete (all the compilers etc) Linux distribution on floppies? I probablly do not need Xwindows. I am not family with Mac at all. Can I just insert a LinuxPPC boot disk and put it into the drive and boot Linux? Thanks a lot for the help!
