Hi guys,
I need to install Linux for a friend. He has two HDs in his system and hda
already has windows2000 installed. He wants to install Linux into hdb and
then he can choose the boot sequence from the CMOS setup to boot Linux or
windows.
I installed everything onto his hdb and then write the bootloader into
hdb1 (in RedHat installation program). The program said that MBR is hda,
though.
But when I boot from hdb, it only gives "LI" and hang there. I am sure it
is a very common problem but just could not find it in LILO howTos ...
