Who is offering this? I take it that it is their "lifetime", not yours!

I've been doing this successfully for over a year. I use jump.net, and
have been very satified with the service. I still run my own DNS on my
older domain, but for the newer ones, I register with register.com, and
they provide DNS. DNS can be rather chatty if you don't set it up exactly
right, I'd rather use my bandwidth for content. Also, you will need a
secondary NOT on your DSL connection. I use my brother's box in
Seattle. He is also on DSL.

Try comparing the responses:

http://www.metasystema.org/ is on my own DNS service.
http://www.metasystema.com/ is using register.com DNS

Simon Hill
