i've recently tried installing mod_perl for apache so that i can use
HTML::Embperl to embed perl into html documents, but for some reason it
won't work..i'm using rh 6.2 with apache 1.3.12-2. i compiled it from a
tar.gz file first and it didn't work then i tried an rpm and i got a
message saying that mod_perl wouldn't work my my version of apache, but i
though i was using the latest of both...the error messages i get are when
i try to start my httpd server
can't AddModule mod_perl.c not in list of loaded modules.
so i tried LoadModule mod_perl modules/mod_include_modperl.so
along with the AddModule mod_perl.c
but i get a differnt error with that one saying can't load sharedobject
blah blah blah...anyone have any idea what i'm doing wrong?
