Quicktime 5 is previewing now, Mac version only available currently. Windows
version is sure to come.
Quicktime streaming server is now open source, and
they've even made packages for FreeBSD, RedHat, and Solaris.
Mac OS X is based on unix, so hopefully we'll see more open source from them.
