I'm running Debian potato and X 3.3.6 (stock potato install)
and I need my SiS 6326 (SiS 3D AGP PRO) to work in resolutions
higher than 800x600 greater than 8 bpp (what I'm running right now).

My XF86Config file is failing me, and I can't restore the one
which magically worked when I had my Mandrake 7.1 install (DrakX
was able to eventually give me the best settings: for 1024x768
at 24 bpp, > 70 Hz). (On a similar note: I can't get rpms to
install and detect programs that my .debs have installed--any
quick fix for this in potato? --I've been trying to locate and
install DrakX [I know, that's cross-pollinating], without the
rpms or source working...)

If anyone has this card and a close version of X, could you mail
me your XF86Config file? I've been researching modelines for days,
and using xvidtune to no avail, and I think the prob has something
to do with refining my modelines.

TIA,
Chris Johnson
