Hi everybody,
on tuesday April 17th at 7:00pm in TAY 2.106, Ken Moreau of Compaq
will be speaking to us about the various clustering technologies.
Clusters: A Discussion of Technologies. We will cover all of the
technologies which go into the many clustered systems available
today, including distributed lock managers, cluster file systems,
systems and storage interconnects, failover and recovery techniques,
and distributed processing systems. We will show you how to evaluate
the features in specific clustering products, in order to make an
informed choice about which product is right for your requirements.
Clustering products from all of the leading vendors, as well as from
the open source world, will be covered and used as examples.
