Depending on what you want to do, you might consider an Addtron Cable
Router, which will get it's IP either fixed or DHCP and can also be a DHCP
server and DNS.  It supports PPoE and is available for $98 at Altex.  I'm
thinking of replacing my floppyfw with it.  It also includes a 4 port 100 mb
switch.
