Hi everyone ... I just joined the list and i'm a newbee to linux. I just
installed RedHat 6.0 and am having some configuration problems.
I went into startx and tried to ping my router from an xterm, and it =
didn't see it. Is there an easy way to notify Linux my nic card is =
there(and all my other hardware too). The green light is on, on the = nic so
the nic is hot to the network. I dont think Linux sees my = nic though.
How do I get Linux to =
see my nic, or is it the network?
