Hi!
This is a general hardware question, instead of a linux one..please
don't fry me over this.

I am thinking about assembling a computing only unit since I have a need to
do a huge amount of computing for my research. I only want MB+CPU+RAM.
everything else is through network. And I want the unit to be as small as
possible. So I am thinking about making my own case. (I want to make it
as compact as the Sun IPX, but I think that's impossible as even the micro
ATX is bigger than IPX).

I am thinking about an AMD 1.4G. Now here comes the tricky part. Not
many selection for MB if I want to choose mATX, so I might go with ATX.
but the ATX ps is rather big compare to a SFX ps. From the info that I
gather, the form factor are the same for ATX and SFX, except SFX does not
provide -5V, used in ISA bus..so should be ok?

any suggestion on a cheap MB+1.4XP? I am thinking about the ECS k7s5a +1.4G
for $170 deal from pricewatch. thanks for any info.
