I am having problems with lockups on my uncrashable linux system, heh. So X locks up completely, don't know why, just KDE, emacs, kmail and stuff running, nothing intense running. I was successful ssh'ing into the box, but was unable to kill X. The connection dies, and I was unable to log in after that. I am using metalog, where would one start looking for the source of such a problem? The logging was functioning, at least I saw the connection I made to try and salvage the machine, but nothing else has jumped out at me. NVIDIA drivers? (which I am using)
