KDE 3 here, when doing desktop-ish stuff like web browsing.  It looks 
nice enough, although I think its much better with the menus stripped 
down to only 3 or 4 options.
Is it just me or is anyone else annoyed by the gazillion K* apps that 
ship with KDE?

I wonder if there is a  way to get a simple KDE setup with only some 
basic apps like Mozilla, XMMS, Control Center, Anjuta, etc.  Like a 
theme but a menu configuration instead............
