may library's (like Qt even though i don't know about qt itself) have the LGPL which allow the use without having your software to be GPL. as long as you don't use Qt source in your product there isn't an issue
If your software is GPL it's GPL. what is possible is that if you are the owner of the software to set up a seperate branch with a different license. (even though if something like Qt forces you to gpl this doesn't work) even though you might want to ask someone with 'real legal' experiences. this is just my understanding victor Quoting "Shashank G.
