Does anyone else have a box with an original ATI Radeon set up for OpenGl
Development?

The graphics class has a project out right now that I thought I'd fiddle
with. I've done most of it at in a cs lab with the nvidia cards. My code
works just fine there, but when bring it home and compile/run it doesn't
work.

More specifically the project is generating a fractal terrain and
navigating it. In the cs deparmtent I have a nice looking terrain, at
home there seems to be triangles missing when I render with a
texture/solid color but not when I render with just a wire frame. I'm
using the same libraries (some slightly newer then the cs ones) and the
exact same g++ command to compile.

Could this be a hardware problem? I know from experience that ATI/Linux
support is poor, but this seems like a big difference.

If it helps, quake runs on my box without so much as a hiccup.
