Im running a TurtleBeach Santa Cruz soundcard which is not supported by the 2.4 kernel. Ive seen that some people with this card have had success with ALSA, i tried this and it still doesnt work. Anyone have any ideas?
Look for the third-party "aureal" drivers. They are free, and source is supplied. I've been using them with my TB card for a long time, and the sound is *really* good.
However, they are *not* RMS-sertified, so they will "taint" your kernel. ;^)
