Hi! I just received this laptop, a Fujitsu Siemens... I am running X, with some tiny problem...
1. I am not sure about the vertical & hor. refresh rate, so I set it to 60. Is the refresh rate a fixed number for LCD? 2. somehow, Xfree86 decides that it likes the resolution of 1280x960...I have no clue how this is decided. 3. X is not using the whole LCD...there is a border of about 1/2 inche around the screen.. 4. The mouse device decided that it likes part of the border that I mentioned in 3. ie, the mouse will go to the very edge of the upper left corner. However, the actual position of the mouse will be different than the mouse pointer that one can see on the screen..
