so i know you're not supposed to just throw those old CRT's away in the trash. i recently had one go bad on me, and i've since replaced it. where are the monitor disposal/recycle places around austin where i can legally get rid of the monitor?
Old functioning hardware can always be donated to Goodwill Computerworks on Research Blvd. They'll take broken stuff too, but what they ultimately do with it is anyone's guess.
