There was the issue of the ACM server dying after I stopped working for UT. I decided to take the time to fix it last month.
I have proposed migrating the ACM website to something like Godaddy, the mailing lists to Google Groups, and email to Google Apps for your domain. This will probably happen if nobody steps forward to manage the servers(Which was an excellent way to experiment in systems administration). As far as I know, at least the following people should be active in running SIGLinux: Richard Darst, Vlad Codrea, Troy Cox, Will Warner. I think Eloy and Poweii graduated. Now is past the time to get organized, but it's not too late. Join the siglinux-dev mailing list. Set some installfest dates. Use the large amount of Co-op money that the ACM got to promote the use of Free Software on campus by inviting speakers, etc. Set up some events, I promise I'll attend.
