Nice, I hope OpenGraphics works out. I was looking around, and I noticed that there are no video cards with Intel GPUs. They only make integrated video chipsets.
I stumbled upon free3d.org . They recommend the ATI Radeon 9200 for people who want 3d acceleration without proprietary drivers. Thanks, Jeff On 11/15/06, Vlad Codrea <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Hi, If you can wait a couple of months, you might be able to buy an OpenGraphics card ( http://OpenGraphics.org ) whose specifications and internal design are fully open. Otherwise, Intel has hired some X.org developers to write open-source drivers for their graphics cards, so they are currently the best supported (expecially the latest model, 965 ): http://IntelLinuxGraphics.org/ Vlad Quoting Jeff Strunk <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Hey folks, > > Does anybody have recommendations for video cards that work well > without proprietary drivers?
