The Rigal DS1102D (and its hacked-to-bits little cousin, the DS1052E) use USBTMC as protocol for host communication. That's good news, means they should have all we need to support them properly in sigrok. However, we don't have USBTMC support yet -- and in general, still need a framework under which we can support this and related stuff, such as GPIB and SCPI. We're looking at pulling Lisandro Perez Meyer's initial work on libusbtmc into sigrok as a subproject, in the hope that more people will help out and make this happen. It's certainly something we'll need before sigrok can do USBTMC. So that's an area in which you can help. The Saleae Logic has been supported for ages, The Ikalogic isn't yet but should be easy -- great opportunity to get your feet wet. The Intronix isn't supported yet, but nobody cares much about it. -- Bert Vermeulen [email protected] email/xmpp ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Everyone hates slow websites.
