@Florian: I traded emails with the author, sent him samples, etc, and he was able to add logic analyzer support over the weekend! You can now export the rigol .WFM files to VCD or OLS using a python command line utility. I also posted a new blog post detailing how you can use awk/sed/cut to rearrange a Rigol csv into an OLS[1] data file. http://www.techtravels.org/amiga/amigablog/?p=923 > There is a bunch of other (external) viewers at > https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waveform_viewer I never knew there were so many of these out there. I've got play and find the "best" one. So far, gtkwave[2] seems to be the most feature rich. > Also found Gwave http://gwave.sourceforge.net/ I'll try this, too! Maybe this is "the" problem with open source in general, but I see all of these separate efforts to achieve more or less the same thing. I can't help but think how awesome a final product that combined the efforts of everyone could be. And I know there are differences in direction, sometimes the targeted platform, overall goal, language expertise, people's roles.... I appreciate that it's difficult. I just see this repeated theme across many application areas, and can't help but mention it. Thanks everyone for the replies.
