This is my first post, and I woul like to start by say thanks to all the
people that seems to make this great work possible.
I just found this project looking for how to get logging of records of my
3-phase-power multimeter Mastech MS2205, since the crappy software that
came with it is very dificult to make it works, and only barely runs on
windows 7.
I have an old but fully working pentiun4 laptop, that I was able to install
windows 7 and run barely enough to run the MS2205 original software, but is
not really good, and I dont want to leave my work laptop, in a place doing
power lines logging by hours in the installation that I need to do cheking
by al the night and the laptop will be unattended, so this is the reason
because I need to use an old notebook for this work.
By now seems that this model MS2205 is not supported, so I would like to
share a PDF from the factory that describes the protocol of the model
MS2203 that is reported the same for the MS2205 model, and seems that may
be some success the Google Translate to got some info form chinese to
english.

I dont the knowledge for understand the info, but I would like if may be
somebody could check and be very gratefull if the support for this
multimeters could be available.
If so I may help doing beta testing in orde to check about if it could work.
