These patches can be grouped: 6: Provide getters for sr_dev_inst member access 1/9: Add sdi->connection_id auto-set mechanisms for SCPI and serial devices 2/3/4/5: Popuplate the sdi->serial_num field for the SCPI devices 7/8: Fix bugs #440 and #441 by letting patch 6 do the job instead
