Oh, DE-5000 has a secondary display with those too. I just
originally was thinking about "AUTO"/"MANUAL" -type information
and when I changed it to "AUTO"/"INDUCTANCE"/... I just somehow
failed to realize that obviously the secondary measurement
setting should be exported the same way. I'll fix this in v2 of
my patch.

In DE-5000 the secondary measurements are D, Q, resistance and
phase angle. If I remember correctly, resistance is ESR in
SERIES mode and Rp in PARALLEL (I'll have to check this). Does
BK 879B report ESR regardless of the selected model?

Do you have any opinion about the name of the config key
("SR_CONF_MEASURED_2ND_QUANTITY")?

Yes, this I already have in my driver. I used uint64_t for the
frequency and even allow listing the possible values even while
the meter does not support remote control.
