Hi there, If you're receiving this message (and aren't on the sigrok-devel mailing list), then it's because you have contributed code, bug reports or suggestions for libserialport in the past.
We are getting ready to release version 0.1.1 of libserialport and would like to make sure everything is OK before we do so. If you have time to do so, please help us to test it. You can pull the release candidate code from the 'master' branch at: git://sigrok.org/libserialport This version will be fully backwards compatible (both API and ABI) with the previous 0.1.0 release, so all projects should be able to upgrade seamlessly. Improvements since 0.1.0 include: - New functions for identifying USB and Bluetooth ports by VID/PID, address, etc. - The dependency on libudev on Linux has been removed; there are now no third-party runtime dependencies on any platform. - Port enumeration is now supported on FreeBSD. - Numerous bug fixes. Please help us to test the library with as many ѕystems, devices and programs as possible. If you encounter any problems you can report them via the bug tracking system at: http://sigrok.org/bugzilla/enter_bug.cgi?product=libserialport At this time, there are no known bugs! If we do not receive any new bug reports then we will make the release soon.
