Hi, I'm trying to find an easy way to trace response curves of a circuit. Say, we have a constant current circuit and we want to trace its I-V characteristic, plus a few voltage taps here and there. Every measurement is done with a separate (sigrok-supported) multimeter, and the (sigrok-supported) power supply is GPIB/telnet capable.
Right now, I find the easiest way to be to telnet into the power supply, type "SOUR:VOLT blablabla", manually record values on spreadsheet, repeat. Am I missing the obvious and simple way to automate the process, say set output, wait a bit to settle, get readings, write to CSV, move on to next voltage in list, repeat?
