thanks for letting us know that you appreciate the work :)

Unfortunately though, compiling the sigrok suite on Windows
isn't straightforward. This is in part due to the fact that
it's not a simple task and in part because we're (almost)
all devs who use Linux for our main machines. Historically,
the Windows build was only provided as a nice gesture to
Windows users, relying on them to provide bug reports
and bugfixes. This has changed a little, but really just
a little ;)

Did you see http://sigrok.org/wiki/Windows#Building_from_source
already? I suggest giving MXE a try and seeing how far you
get. Once there's a successful PV build, using Eclipse as
an editor and setting it up to perform the build shouldn't
be hard.
