Hi
Newbie questions - sorry!
Thanks for building the PulseView software. Seems very nice and I would like to
use pulseview with my lwla1034. The device works ok with the include Wave View
software but I cannot get it to connect with pulseview nightly build dmg on mac
osx 10.13 or 10.11 or 10.10 and have also tried the nigthly build on windows 7
64bit with zadig installing the winusb driver. In all cases I get the same
behavior from the device when trying to connect to it: It shows up in the drop
down list in PulseView. I select it and then the LEDs on the device flashes
slowly a couple of times but then nothing happens. So it seems that it tries to
load the bitstreams to the fpga but fails, maybe?
I have also tried the trick presented here for the lwla1016:
https://blog.danman.eu/lwla1016-in-linux/
<https://blog.danman.eu/lwla1016-in-linux/> and used the
sigrok-util/firmware/sysclk-lwla/sigrok-fwextract-sysclk-lwla1034
But when I run the script to extract the bitstreams the terminal says "checksum
mismatch” with my file from the the install cd-rom.
Also found this https://sourceforge.net/p/sigrok/mailman/message/34654327/
<https://sourceforge.net/p/sigrok/mailman/message/34654327/> talking about a
similar problem but the link to the solution lwla-hackery isn’t working anymore.
And another maybe simpler question: When using the parallel decoder in
Pulseview or other logic analysere software on a data bus thats active low: How
do you invert the bits before getting the hex output?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
