it is already quite difficult to understand how the information paths are. Actually, we are explained to outsiders almost everywhere that the maintainer is informed. So you read it in Bugzilla and so you hope it on Github (everywhere you are Uwe represented with your email). I myself have a hard time with IRC, because understandably your presence can not always be expected. And thus the asycroncy is a problem. Also, I'm rarely there (right) online because there is something else for me as well. That you can not always immediately respond to everything in detail is clear to me. But a sign like "I noticed" would be nice for the not so regular / "minor" accessaries.
