I am looking at modifying the DCC protocol ... Many protocol decoders display all frames but with some (all??) DCC controller hardware they continually resend the last command frame mainly to provide the continuous AC signal but partly to ensure dropped commands are retried.
I would like to add a user runtime parameter to cause duplicates to be suppressed (perhaps greyed out) - the first occurance of the frame to be displayed the remainder suppressed.
Is there a way for the decoder to look at and compare the current frame with the previous one ?? and suppress/grey out the current??
