Okay, I found the packages that include intltoolize and 7za and used apt to installed them (intltool,p7zip-full).
At a first glance it looks like that the mxe-git builds completely (see build log). But the cross-compile/mingw/ build gets errors. It looks like it doesn't use the cross-compiler. The script sigrok-util/cross-compile/mingw/sigrok-cross-mingw sets up the path to use mxe-git: MXE=$HOME/mxe-git export PATH=$MXE/usr/bin/:$PATH After performing this in the bash, gcc should be the cross-compiler. But it doesn't. It's still the native compiler for linux that is invoked when running "gcc". This matches the observation, that there is a i686-w64-ming32.static.posix-gcc in ~/mxe-git/usr/bin, but no gcc (I would expected this as an symlink to i686-w64-ming32.static.posix-gcc. The directory log contain a log of files. I attach a file with a directory listing for completeness. How can I verify, if the MXE build is completed? Should the all the symlinks in mxe-git/usr/bin or can these be found at a different location? Well, is my approach to setup the MXE cross-compile environment correct? Regards, Helge
