Hi All, I recently wanted to stack a new protocol decoder on top of LIN bus frames, but found that the LIN decoder would need some additional code to do it.
I have submitted a pull request on github where frame-level annotations and OUTPUT_PYTHON support is added to the LIN protocol decoder. This has worked so far for my purpose but I am also open to suggestions e.g. on improving the format of the annotation display string and how best to emit protocol errors over OUTPUT_PYTHON.
