Thank you for these tests, which is the most extensive feedback that became available so far (here and in the chat). Have said it in IRC, will repeat here for the record. That a platform may or may not provide support for LTO, or whether it's the platform's default, is not so much of an issue. The real question is: When a platform provides either or both, will all these configurations result in proper behaviour? You answered that for those platforms. Thank you! And congratulations to the lucky hand at picking "interesting" candidates. :-] Have pushed a few more commits, including the "whole archive" attempt, which works here for me (Linux, and MXE, with autotools and with cmake). Some minor stuff showed up, like cmake version dependencies, ld version dependencies (push/pop state). Have applied a quick bandaid without much care, given that the most important goal of the experiment is the drivers list construction, not the ideal autotools compatibility or toolchain feature detection. Those nits are independent of the list construction from selected and thus involved objects. virtually yours Gerhard Sittig -- If you don't understand or are scared by any of the above ask your parents or an adult to help you. _______________________________________________ sigrok-devel mailing list sigrok-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/sigrok-devel
