It seems the work is in progress. Last year I was checking exactly the

scroll down and click 'View entire thread' at the bottom of the page to
see the discussion. Soeren then replied:

So we all can be *very grateful *to him for developing analog signals
math (as you discovered), but perhaps we need to wait a bit for the
digital equivalent. I was thinking to write a necessary Python decoder
for my case, but got scared by another obstacle (lack of output for a
logic trace) and never proceeded.
I am sad that I'm not skillful enough to develop this missing bit, as I
see it fundamental for digital troubleshooting. But thanks to people
like Soeren or Stefan this software gets better with time.
