As an update, I am now able to successfully build PulseView on my Mac running
MacOS Big Sur.

Below are the changes that I remember specifically. I may have tweaked other
files in the process of debugging (not knowing whether those changes were
effective or not, and I didn’t go back from scratch to verify everything that
was necessary). But if you’re totally blocked ping me and maybe I will try to
track down more details. Here’s the summary of my build configuration.

Regards,
Kevin

——————-

Building PulseView on MacOS Big Sur with sigrok-util

directory: /usr/local/Cellar/glib/2.68.1/include/glib-2.0/glib

files: Update these 4 files
        - gatomic.h
        - gmem.h
        - gmacros.h
        - grcbox.h

I commented out these lines, like this:

/*
#if defined(glib_typeof_2_68) && GLIB_VERSION_MIN_REQUIRED >= GLIB_VERSION_2_68

#include <type_traits>
#endif
*/

Running MacOS Big Sur 11.3 on iMac (Retina 5k, 27-inch, late 2015)

Target: x86_64-apple-darwin20.4.0
