Hi folks, To anyone with Kingst LA1016 or LA2016 hardware:
I have written open firmware for the fx2 mcu used in these analysers. I've tested it successfully but it would help get this pull request [1] accepted if there is positive feedback. To test, simply replace the oem firmware file with this pre-built firmware [2], unplug the analyser from USB, then reconnect to ensure new firmware is being used. There should be no difference in use between the open firmware and oem firmware.
