Hi,
I dug my ancient Openbench Logic Sniffer out for a capture session
(needed more bandwidth than I get from my fx2lafw device), and am
running into a problem with RLE encoding. I've since built the latest
sigrok version from source, but seeing the same issue as I was with the
distro package.
Seems very predictable, wondering whether it's a known problem? The
following command will fail every 2nd time with "Invalid reply (expected
'1SLO' or '1ALS', got '')."
~/sr/bin/sigrok-cli -d ols:conn=/dev/ttyACM0 --channels 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7
--config rle=on --samples=5000 -O null
All seems to work okay with very small numbers of samples, but starts
failing somewhere between 1200 & 1300 samples. I've made sure the OLS is
up to date with v3.07 demon core, and v3.0 PIC firmware. I've captured
debug logs if any use..
Possibly time to just retire it & buy a more recent FPGA based LA, but
thanks in advance for any ideas!
Regards,
Jon E.
