Your symptoms are much like mine. Zadig just crashed every time I tried to install the driver on my laptop. I got frustrated and plugged out all USB devices (Mouse and saleae clone) started zadig, plugged saleae back and something happened. The driver was installed and I continued my work. That isn't much but maybe Logitech mouse doesn't behave well.
