OS=Win_ 7, I have noticed that If I "Save Selected Range As" with a new session that I have setup & then exit without saving the whole session, upon app restart the new session with its settings, decoder & connection are ready to go with the Run button active ! (except samples & trigger mode). So I keep this "unsaved session" as a startup template. Opened with settings & no data. Only save selected range. This is pretty cool, very user friendly & intuitive. it's just like Picoscope6. Is it intended behaviour ?, if not it would be good not to inadvertently inhibit this with any updates.
The difference with saving the whole session, upon app restart the previous session is opened with all its data, decoder but not connected & no run button. I know there is the load settings menu but I lose the decoder when connecting to the device after the restore settings & other niggles. ToniG attached "Save Selected Range As" files .
