Hi all,

I'm working on a decoder for the newer "UPDI" programming interface
used by many of the newer AVR chips from Microchip (who bought Atmel a
few years ago, in case you were wondering ;) )

There's a work-in-progress sitting at

  https://github.com/leonerd/libsigrokdecode/tree/avr_updi

  https://github.com/leonerd/libsigrokdecode/tree/avr_updi/decoders/avr_updi

It's quite early yet, in that it successfully parses and runs some
tests on a few capture files I have of some simple cases, but I'm sure
a lot of work is still needed to add more decoding of other situations
and so on.

There's also dumpfiles and tests at

  https://github.com/leonerd/sigrok-dumps/tree/avr_updi/avr_updi

  https://github.com/leonerd/sigrok-test/tree/avr_updi

But I thought I'd pause here for a moment first to see if anyone had
any feedback on what I have so far, before I continue.

Once it looks good I'll submit it all as a sequence of patches in
whatever is the usually preferred fashion.

Thanks,
